Sustainability acrostic poems

Room 9 have been learning about sustainability. We wrote some acrostic poems to share our understanding.

Save our planet!

Use less energy.

Superman saves the world by being sustainable.

Try to limit use of plastic.

Apple cores are sustainable.

It means to go on forever.

No plastic! Try to recycle!

Stop driving because it uses fossil fuels.

Use less fossil fuels.

Slow the printer so we save paper and trees.

Take your rubbish home.

Act with the environment not without.

If you give back as much trees as you take the world will survive.

No smoking because it harms the Ozone layer.

UNNECESSARY NEEDS ARE NOT NEEDS.

SOLAR POWER IS BETTER THAN COAL OR GAS.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.

ANIMALS NEED FOOD, FOOD CAN’T GROW WITHOUT THE ENVIRONMENT.

IF WE ARE NOT KIND TO THE WORLD IT WILL NOT BE KIND TO US.

NEEDS ARE NEEDS, THINK NEXT TIME YOU BUY SOMETHING. DO I WANT IT OR DO I NEED IT?
