On Tuesday the 16th of September Oakura classes 8 and 9 went and cleaned up Dixon Street and Wairau Road. We found lots of rubbish including newspapers, glass bottles, screws, concrete and plastic. Luckily most of the plastic could be recycled. Next year we hope to get less rubbish.
